With a height of just 100 mm and 30 mm suspension travel, it is ideal for city and trekking bikers who often roll over cobblestones or bumpy gravel paths.

Back-friendly on the go: When touring, the built-in steel spring compensates for shocks and protects your back. The spring is available in five different degrees of hardness, which are easy to change. This means you can adjust the suspension to suit your rider's weight - from 45 kg up to 150 kg!

Efficient and robust: The G.2 ST suspension seat post works efficiently with the spring element adjusted to the rider's weight and offers enough reserves even for larger impacts. The result? A consistently comfortable ride - no matter what is under your tires.

Individual adjustment: The five different spring hardnesses allow you to individually adjust your G.2 ST seat post. It also sets visual accents with powerful, organically flowing lines - a real highlight on every bike!

Always fits: If the tube diameter of the seat post does not fit your frame seat tube, you can easily compensate for the difference with the G.Shim reducing sleeve.

Weather protection included: To protect the spring support from dirt and weather, a Mudcover neoprene cover is included.

The parallelogram suspension seat post has been designed to offer you the highest level of riding comfort, both in the city and on rough terrain. The suspension is progressive, which means that the system reacts softly to light impacts and with increasing spring resistance to hard impacts.

When compressed, the G.2 ST parallelogram suspension seat post moves backwards by up to 18mm and downwards by up to 22mm.

Due to the use of a highly resilient flat wire steel spring and technical elastomers in the spring eye and on the inside of the arms, even hard impacts (e.g. when driving through deep potholes) do not cause the suspension to bottom out. In addition, the rearward rebound movement is dampened by the hemispherical elastomers in the head and base sections. Easily replaceable spring elements with different spring hardnesses and dampers are available to optimally adapt the G.2 ST to the driver's weight and driving style.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS:

Installation requirements

· Make sure that the inner diameter of the seat tube of the bicycle frame and the outer diameter of the G.2 ST or G.2 LT seat post are the same.

· Different dimensions can lead to clamp failure and can cause accidents, property damage or personal injury.

· With a reducing sleeve, the tube diameter of the seat post can be adjusted to the size of the seat tube. To adjust the seat post tube, we recommend the double-slotted aluminum reducing sleeve G.Shim from by,schulz. The following diameters and lengths are available:

· If you use a reducing sleeve from another manufacturer, it should be made of aluminum and have a minimum length of 90 mm. Make sure that the reducing sleeve is always completely inserted into the seat tube.

· Check that the width of the saddle frame is compatible with the head of the support. It must not be less than 36mm inside. There are some full-grain leather saddles that are too narrow at the front of the frame and therefore cannot be combined with the support. Such use is not possible and can permanently damage the saddle and support.

· Always use the right saddle clamp for the corresponding saddle frame. Saddle clamps for a saddle frame with a diameter of 7mm are installed as standard. Saddle clamps with a diameter of 8mm can be installed if necessary. Never combine a diameter of 8mm clamp with a saddle frame with a diameter of 7mm or vice versa. Note: Saddles with an oval saddle frame must not be installed.
