Our Eovolt bikes are designed to accompany you in everyday life. The battery is located in the seat post, which makes folding easier, increases compactness and makes charging child's play. The rear motor is particularly space-saving, especially when the bike is folded. Compared to a mid-engine, which would take up significantly more space, the rear motor is a real space saver.
In addition, the rear motor ensures excellent weight distribution in the "Fold & Go" system, which makes pushing the folded bike much easier. The torque sensor in the motor ensures even support and makes riding with a rear motor pleasant - ideal for your next adventure on an i:SY or Eovolt bike !
Powerful and reliable:
The torque that the motor delivers is crucial for riding comfort. In our EOVOLT models, the torque is 35 to 40 Nm and is transmitted directly to the rear wheel - without going through the gearbox. This is particularly advantageous because the gearboxes on folding bikes are designed differently than on normal 28-inch city bikes. The rear motor fits perfectly with the smaller wheels and the larger sprocket on our models. A mid-engine would be far too powerful for this combination.
Another advantage of the rear engine is that it protects the transmission, which extends the service life of the components.
